Something in English

When I was in Turkey, in Cappadocia I meat to girls from Libanon. They offered me with no question there phone number, so I could contact them if I need any help in Beirut. We had dinner together I Cappadocia and had some nice discussion about a lot of thing. I therefore phoned them at we meat downtown. It was the day I came to Beirut and I was invited out again Saturday. They offered me some hospitality and they must be member of www.hospitalityclub.org.
And through the talk with them I suddenly understood a lot of thing. When I tried to let them use my map to point something out, they had big trouble. When I looked at my map and saw a name of a road and after looked at a sign on the same road, there was no name, but a number.
I found out that no one in the Arabic world normally use a map. They just ask 10 or 15 different people on the way witch way they had to go, and there are enough people to ask, most places. It was the same the people in Turkey did. WOW. I suddenly understand.
But what if there is no people to ask – then they really have a big problem. The to girls Norma and Nisrine told me that they got lost in a very small valley in Cappadocia. The valley was not big, but they were unlucky, because that day there was not any people to ask.
I can really see it now when I look at my experiences with people down here. They never orientate they just ask. Thank you girls for giving me the understanding.
